Irish Republicans send message to Basque People
The latest ETA announcement to consider the disbanding of the organisation and the planned decommission of the arsenals comes as no surprise, Republican Sinn Féin International spokesperson Dieter Blumenfeld.
Blumenfeld said: “Over the past years one could witness the ETA leadership trying to follow the footsteps of the Provisional leadership. Basque leader Otegi even went so far claiming there are no political prisoners in Ireland! The ETA leadership has been blinded by Gerry Adams and company. Yet all the Provisional leadership gained by their reformist and counterrevolutionary moves were a calm, luxury lifestyle and seats in a British administration while true Irish Republicans are interned and harassed on a daily basis.”

Der am 14. November verübte Mord an Ahmed Al-Jabari durch das zionistische Regime markiert den Beginn eines neuen, blutigen Kapitels in der anhaltenden Unterdrückung in Palästina. Das Seán Costello/Martin Hurson-Cumann von Republican Sinn Féin ruft alle Menschenrechtsorganisationen und Regierungen auf, alles in ihrer Macht stehende zu tun, damit es zu keiner weiteren Eskalation kommt.
Ahmed Al-Jabari, Kommandant der Izzeddin al-Qassam Brigaden, war ein Palästinensischer Freiheitskämpfer, der gegen die Besatzung seines Heimatlandes gekämpft hat. Er hatte in der Vergangenheit wiederholt israelische Attentatsversuche überlebt. Seine Ermordung am Mittwoch den 14. November zog eine heftige Reaktion der Hamas nach sich, die ankündigte „Raketen auf Israel regnen zu lassen“. So zu reagieren, anstatt vor der Besatzung das Knie zu beugen, ist eine mutige Entscheidung, und wir von Republican Sinn Féin senden unsere Solidarität an die Hamas und das palästinensische Volk in ihrem Freiheitskampf.

 Irish Republicans were deeply saddened to hear of the death of comrade Reun Le Diguerher, member of the National Bureau of the Breton independence movement Emgann MGi. Comrade Le Diguerher died on Tuesday morning, October 9, in Lanester, Britanny.
During his whole life comrade Reun Le Diguerher was a revolutionary fighter for Breton freedom. He was a close friend of the Republican Movement and a staunch supporter of Irish Freedom. His life is an inspiration to the youth of Brittany.
 On August 25, 2012 he addressed the National Hunger Strike Commemoration in Bundoran. He called for the support of the Republican POWs in Maghaberry and ended his speech demanding a free and united Ireland.
The activists and supporters of the International Bureau of Republican Sinn Féin would like to extend their deepest sympathy to the family, friends and comrades of Reun Le Diguerher. Our struggle will go on. Hand in hand with our fellow-comrades in other Celtic nations we will achieve our ultimate goals: A free, united and socialist republic of Ireland and an independent and united Brittanny.
Comrade Reun Le Diguerher will remain in our memory as a comrade, Breton revolutionary and friend of Irish freedom.

Cumann Na Saoirse Náisiúnta wishes to categorically denounce recent attempts to link the Irish Republican movement in America with U.S.-based fascist organizations. Racism and fascism are anathema to Republican ideals of liberty, equality, and fraternity. Within the last few months, venues and individuals known to support Cumann Na Saoirse Náisiúnta have received racist propaganda letters in the mail with the website addresses of both Republican Sinn Féin in Ireland and the neo-nazi National Alliance in the USA.

Geraldine McNamara PRO of Republican Sinn Fein said today that it is an affront to humanity that the Israeli parliament has passed the “Prevention of Infiltration Law”, which mandates the automatic detention of anyone, including asylum-seekers, who enters Israel without permission.
This law allows for detention without trail or internment without trial as we know it for people from many countries who could be considered by Israel to be hostile. This law criminalises refugees and asylum seekers and they can be detained indefinitely. Families can be detained including children she said. People from Islamic countries are especially targeted by this law which flies in the face of human rights and is against international law on the treatment of refugees and asylum seekers Geraldine said.
